Construction of Igbe, igbogbo road left untouched.
On the 24th of August, 2017, the State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative, Hon Rotimi Ogunleye, held a meeting with the residents of the Igbogbo bayeiku LCDA over the construction of Igbe Road.
Hon. Rotimi assured that the construction of the road will be commenced immediately. After his visit, work was carried out and demolitions of buildings standing on the road was ordered. The destruction of many houses left many families stranded and forced to return to the grass root.
After the demolition, deep drainages were dug and the roads were marked out.
According to sources,the road was to be completed within a year. The year is running out and no serious effort is made to complete the work.

When is our Igbe road going to turn out like this?
We need urgent assurance from the Construction Crew,because the Elepe/Itamaga axis has proved to be uncomfortable for road users along with its bad roads and disturbing traffic.
We hope things are quickly done as it should be,since the residents of Igbogbo Bayeiku are running out of patience.
