Five easy ways to pass Post UTME exam

Five easy ways to pass Post UTME exam

Here are the five (5) steps to consider when preparing for Post UTME examination.

1: Study past questions
2: Attend Tutorials
3: Practise on your own
4: Set questions for yourself
5: Pray before the exam

(1) STUDY PAST QUESTIONS: To get started with the preparation of post UTME exam, studying past questions is practical. Most of the questions set in the exam are past questions from the previous years. When you study past questions, your chance of scoring high is sure.

(2) ATTEND TUTORIALS: Regular attending tutorials w
ill boost your ability and increase your chance of scoring high in the examination. When you are tutored, more chances of knowing the answer to the questions will emerge.

(3) PRACTISE ON YOUR OWN: When you practice on your own, less  distraction is seen and it will allow you to be more focused

(4)  SET QUESTIONS FOR YOURSELF: Picking questions, considering them and working on them is also helpful. Oh common! I am talking from experience... The more questions you set for yourself, the more you set the chance to score high.

(5)    PRAY BEFORE THE EXAM: I know most people do this but I will tell you that what you did not read, even if you pray hundreds of times, you won't know what to write. Prepare yourself before hand, and pray to Jehovah(God's Name) to help you remember what you have read.

Female bomber kills 32, injure 84 in fresh Boko Haram attack (Photos)

(Reposted)

No fewer than 32 persons were killed, while 84 others were injured when six suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devices(IEDs), in Damboa local government area in Borno state on Saturday.

Malam Buba Shettima, a witness said that two separate bomb blasts occurred in Shuwari and Abbachari, at about 8:30 p.m.

“The whole of Damboa was shaken by the unfortunate incident. We all scampered for safety as the blasts were coming from different directions. There were bodies everywhere.
“We suspected that the many deaths recorded were a result of the military artillery,”he said.

Mohammed Hassan, another local from the area who corroborated the claim, said: “At about 8:30 pm of  Saturday night, an attack suspected to be from an artillery killed 31 innocent people in Damboa Shehuri and Abachari.
The attacks came from two separate directions. My house was among some of the houses destroyed,” he said.
Maj.-Gen. Rogers Nicholas, commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, denied the claim, saying the killings were caused by suicide attacks and not military artillery.
“There was nothing like an attack from the military artillery. You can see the pictures of six female bombers who detonated their explosives and as a result, 20 persons were killed while others were injured,” he said.
Rogers urged people to disregard the claim that people were killed by the military and not by suicide bombers.

Buhari to sign budget tomorrow to avoid govt shutdown —Govt source

Buhari to sign budget tomorrow to avoid govt shutdown —Govt source

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to sign the N9.1 trillion 2018 budget of the Federal Government tomorrow after succumbing to entreaties to avoid a shutdown of the government from that day.
The president, according to reliable sources, had frowned at N500 billion increase in the N8.6 trillion proposal he submitted to the National Assembly last November. The increase was in part channelled to the legislative, the judiciary and other agencies of the government.
However, legal counsel reportedly offered by lawyers in the presidency had warned of the implications of not signing the budget immediately, which could mean using illegal instruments to draw money to run government operations.
A government source privy to the development declared that the president was convinced to, despite his reservations, sign the budget in order not to bring the machinery of the government to a standstill as it would have meant no money to run the government.
That would have meant the first-ever shutdown of the Federal Government with the government not being able to pay for its services.
That is because the cycle of the 2017 budget ended last Wednesday, June 13 being the date in 2017 when Vice President Yemi Osinbajo signed the last budget in the absence of the then sick president.

“Any money spent would have been outside the budget, and that would have meant a constitutional infraction, and you know the president does not need to compound his problems with the National Assembly,” a source familiar with the development declared.
The president’s observations of the increases, it was gathered, were mollified by assurances that the increases would be covered by the increase in the budget benchmark for crude oil as provided in the parameters as reviewed by the National Assembly.
A government source disclosed that the presidency last Thursday invited the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara for the signing ceremony tomorrow.

OBO as he is fondly called openly supported the Super Eagles in the campaign when he took to his Twitter handle to write “Go Eagles!!,” two days to the Super Eagles first game. Unfortunately, the Nigerian team lost in their first game but that didn’t demoralise the singer who proved to his fans that he is a stalwart supporter of the national team. “The color is green,” tweeted Davido a few minutes to the end of the encounter.😂😂😂😂

Python swallows woman in her farm

Angry villagers have cut open a python’s belly after it swallowed a 54-year-old woman Wa Tiba, in her farm in Indonesia.

Wa Tiba inside the python’s belly

Tiba went missing while tending to her vegetable garden near her village on Muna Island in Southeast Sulawesi province on Thursday, according to the village chief, Faris.

When her family went to look for her, they found only her belongings in the garden, including her sandals, a machete and a flashlight.
The villagers subsequently launched a search for her but were horrified to find a 23-foot-long python with a severely bloated belly just 50 yards from the garden.
Faris said the villagers killed the snake and when they cut open its belly, they found the woman’s body still intact wearing all her clothes.
Local police chief Hamka, who only has one name like many Indonesians, said: “Residents were suspicious the snake swallowed the victim, so they killed it, then carried it out of the garden.
“The snake’s belly was cut open and the body of the victim was found inside.”
Local villager Ayu Kartika said: “Everyone cried and was in shock. It looked like a horror movie. The people are terrified, afraid to go outside

Your Hate For My Father Shall Kill You. Olori Buruku Mad Cow"...Gumsu Abacha Fires Prof. Wole Soyinka

The first daughter of late Nigeria Military President, Gumsu Fatima Abacha, has taken to social media to slam Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka over the . he made about her father, late Sani bacha.

She took to her Facebook page and wrote; “Wole soyinka oya na!!! Over to you!! Wicked old hawk …. your hate for my father shall kill you. Olori buruku mad cow.”

Recall that the acclaimed playwright told President Buhari that he cannot honour MKO Abiola in one breath and admire his tormentor Sani Abacha in the same breath.

Soyinka, who spoke in Abuja on Wednesday at the national honours investiture for heroes of democracy, said that although he understood Buhari’s official loyalty to Abacha, it shouldn’t take preeminence over the preservation of democracy.

“Dear Mr. President, you cannot honour Abiola in one breath and admire his tormentor in the same breath. So, as we have the Hall of Heroes in one hand, we also have the Hall of Shame as a lesson to future generations,” he said.
